Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of SynLign when you participate in a stakeholder conversation or otherwise use the service. By continuing, you agree to these terms.
What we collect. Account email, name, role or display title, conversation transcript, and statements extracted from that transcript for the project. Optional notes you add after submit. File uploads when the project allows them.
Who sees what. Visibility follows the project's attribution mode stated when you begin: attributed (name may appear on shared views), role-attributed (shared views show role; your name is stored and the project admin can see which responses are yours), or synthesis-only (shared views show project-level synthesis without names or roles; the project admin retains access to raw responses).
AI processing. Conversation and extraction use AI models via SynLign's gateway providers as subprocessors. Your transcript is treated as untrusted data in prompts.
Retention and deletion. Contact the project organization or SynLign at ops@synlign.com to request deletion subject to the organization's retention obligations.
No broader privacy promise. We do not promise anonymity, confidentiality, or that your responses stay only with you beyond the attribution mode stated at Begin. Trust is earned by that stated policy and by how the product enforces it.
Public records. If the project owner is a public body, responses may be subject to applicable public-records laws.
